Simon has worked in Dermatology since 1992, previously working as a Hospital Practitioner in Dermatology at Good Hope Hospital & at the Birmingham Skin centre.

He also gives regular lectures in Dermatology to various professional groups, including qualified & training GP’s & to Pharmacists.

Pre-Covid, he worked for Mediconf, lecturing to Primary care colleagues across the U.K.

He has previously been an honorary lecturer at Aston University’s Department of Pharmacy & has also taught on the Diploma in Practical Dermatology course run by Cardiff University.

He has a particular interest in teaching the diagnosis and management of the skin problems seen in Primary Care – aiming to improving colleagues’ knowledge & confidence to enable better management of common skin conditions.
