Dr Rohini Bajaj

Consultant Paediatrician, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

Dr Bajaj is a consultant general paediatrician working at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.  After completing her undergraduate training in Newcastle Medical School, she moved to the North West of England.  She spent over a year working with the tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology team and now has a special interest in infants with feeding issues.

Rohini divides her time between ambulatory work and acute Paediatrics managing acutely unwell patients and emergencies in the Paediatric A&E department.  When not seeing patients, she enjoys teaching as a qualified NLS instructor, OSCE and PLAB examiner.

In the last year, she set up and now runs the GP hotline service which provides daily Paediatric advice to Primary Care Practitioners.

Outside of work, Rohini enjoys running, climbing mountains and fundraising for the Down’s Syndrome Association-a charity very close to her heart.
