Geetha studied medicine in India and trained in Surgical specialties to get her MRCS prior to becoming a GP.
Geetha has been a partner at Plane Trees Group Practice since 2014, helping to pilot various projects and playing a key role in keeping the practice at the forefront of innovation, making best use of all workforce options. As a GPwSI in Urology Geetha also holds a weekly community vasectomy clinic. Geetha is a founding director of Pennine GP alliance, and recently stepped down from her position as Co-Chair in June 2019 when she became the Clinical Director for North Halifax Primary Care Network. Her interests are in making General Practice sustainable by embracing change and new models of care.
Outside of her busy schedule Geetha loves to relax by baking for her friends and family.
