Between 1993 and 2006, Dr El-Radhi has practiced paediatrics as a consultant paediatrician at the University Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup, Kent, England. He received the honour of senior honorary lecturer from the Medical School, London. Throughout his work there, he was involved for over ten years in under- and postgraduate teaching, and became the undergraduate tutor at the hospital. Throughout his practice here he was involved in research including numerous randomised controlled trials. His special interest has been fever-related diseases.
Dr El-Radhi has been MRCPCH and DCH examiner for nearly 20 years for our Royal College of paediatrics and child health. He has been a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health since 1994. He has been a peer-reviewer of articles submitted to the Archives of Disease in Childhood, British Journal of Nursing and World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics, USA, where he is an editor as well.
Currently he is practicing paediatrics at the BMI Chelsfield Park Hospital, Kent, England, working part-time in recent years. Happily he has now more time to focus on his special interest that is searching medical journals and internet for scientific publications and writing medical books and articles. In 2017 he was pleased to published 8 papers in medical journals. In 2018, he was able to complete writing two books. In 2019, he already signed a contract to write a new book on Avoiding Misdiagnosis in Paediatric Practice. He submitted a proposal with an American colleague, Professor Park to write a pediatric-neurological book on Pediatric Neuro-inflammatory Diseases. In addition, Dr El-Radhi is engaging in his free time with charity organisations and playing tennis.
