Dr Kerri Neylon

GP and Clinical Director, North West Glasgow

Biography


Dr Neylon graduated from University of Glasgow in 1998 and initially pursued a career in General Surgery, achieving her MRCS. She changed career path in 2002 choosing to self construct a training programme and completing GP training in 2004. She has been a GP Partner in 2 Deep End GP Practices in Glasgow and has always engaged in wider Primary Care roles such as GP Appraisal and as a member of the Glasgow Local Medical Committee.

In 2015 she started as a Clinical Director for Glasgow City HSCP and is now heavily involved in the development and implementation of the new GP Contract and Primary Care Improvement Plans. In addition Dr Neylon is the Primary Care lead for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Deputy Responsible Officer for Primary Care. She engages at a national level in a number for groups. Dr Neylon has commenced a Part-time Post-graduate MBA at University of Strathclyde.

Her main focus is sustainability of General Practice and championing General Practice as a career.
