Dr Capehorn has been a qualified doctor for more 32 years and is a GP with specialist interest in paediatrics. He trained at the University of Bristol and has always been based around Bristol and Gloucestershire. He has worked in various roles at Bristol Children’s Hospital for 25 years, having undertaken training in paediatric emergency medicine and having written a textbook on the subject. He established what was believed to be the first paediatric primary care service in the country nearly 20 years ago in South Gloucestershire. He is an Honorary Associate Specialist in paediatric emergency medicine at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
