Dr David Capehorn trained at The University of Bristol, qualifying in 1989 and he is a GP with specialist interest in paediatrics.
He has combined work as a General Practitioner and working in emergency and general paediatrics, co-authoring a textbook of emergency paediatrics.
He is an Honorary Associate Specialist in paediatric emergency medicine at Bristol children’s Hospital. Dr Capehorn founded the Bristol and South Gloucestershire paediatric primary care service more than 15 years ago and works as Clinical Director of the service currently alongside his work as GP.
