GP in Lancashire and education lead, Family Doctor Association
Dr Claire Rushton works in a two-partner practice in Darwen, Lancashire and is education lead for the Family Doctor Association. She is passionate about training in general practice and enjoys her role as a trainer for the Manchester Deanery working with GP Registrars, FY2 doctors and medical students. Her portfolio includes the Appraisal Logbook, with a print run of 4,000 copies, the e-learning study packs on key clinical topics such as diabetes and mental health, plus the FDA national conference. She also chairs the East Lancashire division of the Family Doctor Association.
