Biography


Adeola Olaitan was appointed as Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at the University College London Hospital, the gynaecological cancer centre for the then North London Cancer Network, in January 2002.

She obtained her medical degree from University College London Hospital, and worked in many of London’s leading hospitals as part of her training. She has an interest in public engagement and education and is a Trustee for the Eve Appeal Charity and Medical Expert for Jo’s Trust Cervical Cancer Charity and Cancer Aware Nigeria.

She is the author of over 40 publications and book chapters. She is a recognised international expert and has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. She has won awards including Academic Excellence Award from UCH London in 2006 and Inspiring Teacher Award SPROGs in 2017.
