Rohan Simon has developed a wide skill set, and has expert knowledge gained through years of work in the medical field, leading on Operations, Project Management, Commercial and Leadership. In his previous role he was responsible for starting-up a new clinical trial service business within a pharmaceutical wholesaler. Over a three year period he grew the business from £100K turnover to £90m turnover.
He started his career at GSK where he spent five years working in various roles, starting as Technologist then worked as Project Manager looking after transfer projects within the GSK manufacturing network. He then went on to be a production manager within tablets manufacturing. Subsequently he moved to the NHS and worked within various operations management roles including acting up as General Manager.
He has been with MDS right from company incorporation and has worked on the project starting from the initial design phase to the successful launch in July 2017. As the CEO for MDS he continues to be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the overall organisation’s strategy. He also oversees the complete operations of MDS ensuring all members receive high quality service in accordance with MDS strategic plans. As the company grows, he continues to work harder to ensure that the design of the organisation facilitates and supports its GP members in the best possible way.
